PRESIDENT's message

I am Carol Nordlund Kinsey, and I am honoured to be accepted as the president of the  Advantage Party of Alberta. This position will take me through the next election cycle. I am looking forward to the challenge of ushering this party to and through that momentous time. A time where we will have the opportunity to make a difference in what this province looks like going forward.

Albertans are standing on a historical precipice. We have three choices.

We can turn and walk back into the fires of overwhelming totalitarianism being perpetrated by Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his proxy Jason Kenney.

We can stand still and wait for that inferno to come and devour us and our future generations; or we can take a leap of faith knowing we can provide a better life for ourselves and our fellow Albertans.

It is no surprise that Jason Kenney is taking a knee to the Ottawa powerbrokers. He owes them and he is using Albertans and Alberta’s resource wealth to satisfy his debt for power.

It is also no surprise that Rachel Notley is drooling for an opportunity to regain the authoritarian power she accidentally gained in the 2015 election. What she doesn’t understand is that Albertans have long memories and once burned we are not destined to restart that fire.

What these two robber barons and their comrades fail to recognize is Albertan’s thirst for change. We are tired of holding our noses and placing an X for the least painful option. We desire a true grassroots government. By the people, for the people.

When we hear the word ‘grassroots’ most of us chuckle. Jason Kenney has tried to convince us he was a grassroots man. That he would listen to Albertans and act accordingly. In the just shy three years of his premiership, he has proven he is anything but grassroots. It’s his way or the highway.

Advantage Party of Alberta takes it heart and soul from the original Wildrose Alliance Party. We are dedicated to the service of all Albertans. We believe in Albertan’s strength and intelligence to guide this land toward renewed prosperity.

We understand that no one knows better than Albertans what they need to take themselves into the future.

We know Alberta families are the heartbeat and breath of this great land. That together we can forge a future, nations will envy.
